Vintage hanging basket for succulents

Fun little garden design project anyone can do and can maintain

hanging basket succulents
Here is what I chose to plant

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Vintage hanging fruit basket that you can find at a flea market, or on etsy.com
• Coconut basket liners you can find at your local hardware store or nursery
• Good dirt;)
• Succulents, approx. 15 small plants

DESIGN
• Pick your favorite grouping of succulents
• Really no wrong way to arrange your succulents, just keep in mind they grow fast and will fill in nicely
• I like to have at least 1 trailing like sedum, and one with some height like aloe

GROWTH
• Your succulents are OK with heat and lots of sun, so this makes them ideal to plant in hanging baskets
• Water them lightly once a week
• You shouldn't need to add plant food as succulents are tough
